Signs of the times

           

"Blessed is the man who 

  • Walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,

  • Nor stands in the path of sinners,

  • Nor sits in the seat of the scornful [mockers];

But his delight is in the law of the Lord,

And in His law he meditates day and night.

He shall be like a tree

Planted by the rivers of water,

That brings forth its fruit in its season,

Whose leaf also shall not wither;

And whatever he does shall prosper." Psalm 1:1-6

 

"...there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. ... But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God."  Jude 18-21

To prepare His people for future events, Jesus told His disciples,

"Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near... Watch therefore...." Matthew  24:32-33, 42
