"For when we were still without
strength, 'in due time 'Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for
a good man someone would even dare to die. But God
demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now
been justified mby His blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through Him. For if when we were enemies we were
reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more,
having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not
only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus
Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation."
Romans 5:6-10
"...if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old
things have passed away; behold, all things have become vnew.
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself
through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of
reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ
reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their
trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of
reconciliation.
"Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as
though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s
behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no
sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of
God in Him."
2 Corinthians
5:17-21
"...you were without Christ, being
aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the
covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the
world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were
far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
"For He Himself is our peace, who has made both
one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having
abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of
commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself
one new man from the two [Jews and gentiles], thus making
peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one
body through the cross.... For through Him we both have access
by one Spirit to the Father."
Ephesians 2:12-16
"...you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet
now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you
holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— if indeed you continue in
the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the
gospel which you heard."
Colossians 1:21-23
"Therefore if you bring your gift
to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something
against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go
your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then
come and offer your gift.Agree with your adversary quickly,
while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver
you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and
you be thrown into prison.Assuredly, I say to you, you will by
no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny."

5:23-26
