Verse 1.
Surrender your life into
God's hands: "...present your bodies a living
sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."
Verse 2.
Fill your mind with God's
truth, not the world's philosophies. "Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is
that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Verse 3.
Build Christ-esteem, not
self-esteem. "Do
not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself
with sober judgment...."
Verse 9.
Learn to see reality
from God's perspective. "Abhor
what is evil. Cling to what is good."
