These words are for those who have trusted in His redemption,
repented of their sins, received the gift of forgiveness and eternal
life through Christ and been joined to Him through the cross.. The
next section follows:
"Shall I then take the
members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!
Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body
with her? For 'the two,' He says, 'shall become one flesh.' But he
who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual
immorality." 1 Corinthians 6:15-18
"I have made a covenant with my eyes;
Why then should I look upon a young woman?...
Does He not see my ways, and count all my steps? ...
If my step has turned from the way, or my heart walked after my eyes...
If my heart has been
enticed by a woman...
that would be wickedness...

Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks....
He did not know it would
cost his life.
Now therefore, listen to me,
my children;
Pay attention to the words of my mouth:
Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways,
Do not stray into her paths...
Her house is the way to hell,
Descending to the chambers of death." Proverb 7:1-2, 5,
7-15, 18, 21-27
