Note: Communist leaders understood some
important things about revolution and change. Social unrest,
proletariat hatred, and class war were needed to mobilize the masses in a common
quest for change.
In the absence of a raging
"war" between social classes in America, "diversity" becomes
a useful tool for bringing people together in a radically new unity. Diversity
must stressed and stretched until every person feels their difference from other
groups in society. Once diversity becomes felt, the leaders can manipulate those
feelings. The media is essential to the process of teaching victim-hood and
pointing to the perpetrators of various forms of social injustice. (See

Non Governmental Organizations and Foundations:

official relations with 337 international NGOs and 23 foundations and similar institutions which are working in the fields of competence of the Organization."

Obama Administration To Impose Liberal UN Curriculum. "On July
24, 2009, the U.S Department of Education (DOE) announced that the
'centerpiece of the Obama administration's education reform efforts'
in its "$4.35 billion Race to the Top," will include 'adopting
internationally benchmarked education standards.'...
"By the term 'education standards'
DOE means content standards; meaning curriculum -- the content
schools must teach.... The Department of Education will
financially reward those states that teach what DOE wants taught.
The Department can be expected to insist that the values
taught in the national curriculum conform to the very liberal
ideology of the Obama administration.
"...The only extant comprehensive 'internationally
benchmarked' education standards are those developed by
UNESCO, the UN's education arm. The UNESCO website clarifies
that its education standards conform to the treaties and
agreements of the UN. This means that its curriculum includes,
for example, the requirements of the UN's
Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) which says,
"Education shall . . . further the activities of the United
Nations" (Art. 26:2).
"American schools used to teach the
fundamental values of the United States--including the
inalienable, God-given rights of life, liberty and property, as
guaranteed by our Declaration of Independence and Constitution.
Not any more. Now our students will be indoctrinated in the UN's
definition of human rights. The UNESCO standards also include
the
UN's Earth Charter which further defines internationally
benchmarked standards. The Charter says these standards must
entail what it calls "sustainability education" (Art 14:b).
International Conference on Technology in Education:
(March 8-11, 1998) "Fifty years ago while Allied armies in Europe were fighting their way up the Rhine, diplomats at
Dumbarton Oaks in Washington were struggling to form a compact that was to become the
Charter of the United Nations. The Charter was signed on 26 June 1945 and four months later
on 24 October 1945, 51 nations with the mission 'to end the scourge of war' formed the United
Nations (UN).
" That mission has yet to be accomplished, and today 191 members still focus on peace keeping.
Through a host of specialized agencies the UN links the nations of the world together in ways
that have become essential to their health and economic well being. Some have called the UN
the glue that binds disparate nations together to form the planet earth. But today, the world is
also linked together by means of effective use of communications and information technology;
communications reach out to all the people of the world, and information to understand the
people of the world, to educate.....

Cultural diversity: a new universal ethic:
"Cultural Diversity has been at the core of UNESCO’s concerns since the Organization came into being 60 years ago. The adoption of the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity (2 November 2001) confirmed yet again the Organization's commitment to the
'fruitful diversity of… cultures' in a spirit of dialogue and openness, taking into account the risks of identity-based isolationism and standardization associated with globalization. ...
The preservation and promotion of this 'common heritage of humanity' is an ethical imperative backed up by a series of normative instruments and constitutes the foundation and the final goal of UNESCO's entire cultural programme in the various fields of: heritage (world heritage, monumental heritage, movable heritage, intangible heritage); living cultures (traditional expressions, crafts, contemporary expressions, languages and copyright); sustainable development (cultural tourism, crafts, indigenous knowledge, sustainable environment); and intercultural dialogue."
UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity:
"The UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity was adopted unanimously by the General Conference at its 31st session on 2 November 2001. The Declaration was born of the wish of the Member States to define a standard-setting instrument, in the context of Globalization, for the elaboration of their national cultural policies, while respecting international rules and fundamental rights. It is the first time the International community has possessed a legal instrument which raises cultural diversity to the rank of
'common heritage of humanity'.”
