This year we told our children we are going to start a new 'celebration day' in our family. My concept - One day each year ( no one knows the day or the hour ) we will have "THE RETURN OF JESUS PRACTICE DAY"!
The children will have to wait expectantly like the
virgins who had oil in their lamps while awaiting the bridegroom, never knowing when
this FEAST DAY, will arrive. We will surprise them like a "thief in the
night" and have a wonderful celebration and worship time as a family and a pre-
MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB, where we honor the Lord! We may give them gifts, as
"all good and perfect gifts come down from the Father of Lights." Most
important we will continue to teach them how important it is to stay strong in their
faith and to give the gift that never stops giving, the gift of Jesus to all who will
receive!
God bless you as you remember the Lord's birth,
death, resurrection and SOON return, 'til He comes! Jesus is
Lord!
