More eerie 'ghost cities'
popping up: "Why
is China constructing large, well-designed 'ghost cities' that are completely
devoid of people? Now, the BBC reports a giant new Chinese-built city
has been spotted in Africa in the outskirts of Angola’s capital Luanda.
The city, Nova Cidade de Kilamba, was designed to hold up to a half
million people and features 750 eight-story apartment buildings, 12
schools and more than 100 retail units, according to the report. State-owned
China International Trust and Investment Corporation reportedly took
less than three years to build the city at a cost of $3.5 billion.
It covers 12,355 acres. ...[but] the city’s buildings
are completely empty. The empty cities aren’t only in Africa."

Chinese company to buy US
movie theater chain AMC:
"A Chinese conglomerate announced Monday it will buy a major U.S. cinema
chain, AMC Entertainment Holdings, for $2.6 billion in China’s biggest
takeover of an American company to date. ... 'We support AMC becoming
bigger, not only in the United States but in the global market,' said
Wanda chairman Wang Jianlin at a signing ceremony for the acquisition.
The deal reflects rising Chinese investment in U.S. corporate assets
despite disputes between the two governments over trade and political
issues such as this month’s diplomatic standoff over a blind Chinese
legal activist."

are members of the Communist Party. Addressing a town-hall meeting Tuesday
in Florida, the freshman lawmaker was asked how many members of the
American legislature are 'card-carrying Marxists.' West said
'there’s about 78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party that are members
of the Communist Party.' West...was referring to the 76 members of the
Congressional Progressive Caucus, the largest group within the
House Democratic caucus. 'The Communist Party has publicly referred
to the Progressive Caucus as its allies,' said Angela Melvin, a spokeswoman

Policy Minister, Eleonora Menicucci [appointed by Brazil's new president,
Dilma Rousseff] was trained in Colombia to personally perform
abortions....[T]he revolutionary group
of which she was a member, 'for security reasons,' wanted her to 'only
have sexual relations with members of [their] organization.'....Menicucci,
who was incarcerated with Rousseff during the 1970s, when
they were arrested for terrorism."

But history
tends to repeat itself. As in the past, the food will go to the upper
class and the people it favors. Faithful Christians will remain on the
edge of starvation - unless God intervenes. So let us continue to pray for
His faithful, suffering, persecuted people.
