[Video] Proud Flag-Waving Communists March in Copenhagen to Stop Global Warming: "Kommunistisk Parti: Fight capitalism to save the planet! ... Revolution! ... Long live socialism!"

Hugo Chavez cheered: "President Chavez brought the house down.... When he said there was a 'silent and terrible ghost in the room' and that ghost was called capitalism, the applause was deafening. But then he wound up to his grand conclusion – 20 minutes after his 5 minute speaking time was supposed to have ended and after quoting everyone from Karl Marx to Jesus Christ - 'our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell....let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us.' He won a standing ovation."

Withdraw Grants To Libyan Charities: "The Obama Administration plans to give $400,000 in funding to a Libyan charity run by the Gadhafi family, and U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) wants the grant withdrawn."

The socialist seduction of America: "While traveling across that communist country [what was then Yugoslavia], I got into a conversation with a lady passenger about freedom and 'basic rights.' I explained that in America, we have fundamental freedoms of speech, of the press, of religion, association, travel and so on, as well as freedom of opportunity – that is, to succeed or fail, but also to be able to keep the fruits of our labors and to be free of the tyranny of a stifling and predatory government. Czar's 'communist manifesto' scrubbed from Net -- Founded group with 'commitment to fundamental ideas of Marxism-Leninism': "Last week, WND reported the official communist-oriented manifesto of a radical group founded by Obama's environmental adviser, Van Jones, was published in full on the Internet. Just hours later, the manifesto was removed and the entire website was taken down....

     "Van Jones, special adviser for green jobs, enterprise and innovation to the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is an admitted black nationalist and radical communist. Jones was the leader and founder of a radical group, the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM. STORM's official manifesto, titled, 'Reclaiming Revolution,' had been published on the Internet. ...the manual describes Jones' organization as having a 'commitment to the fundamental ideas of Marxism-Leninism.'

Obama’s Civilian Troops: "...young people, educated in a system that allowed Bill Ayers to become a 'distinguished professor' of education, heed the siren call of Obama's Organizing for America.....Today's communists, like Bill Ayers, work in our schools aiming to keep American students in the same level of ignorance and tribalism as the peasants of Russia and South America. They began their nefarious deeds in the 1960s. With help from the Soviet Union, they fomented hatred of the United States and then successfully groomed a generation to colonize the schools. The SDS (Students for a Democratic Society), of which Ayers was a member, spelled out their strategies in their position paper, the Port Huron Statement. Employing the old Soviet strategy of "boring from within," they focused on "an overlooked seat of influence": the university. Divested of their history, literacy, and ability to reason, their students became the mob that elected Barack Obama."

Communism. Obama participated in socialist party: "Obama was a member of the New Party, which sought to elect members to public office with the aim of moving the Democratic Party far leftward to ultimately form a new political party with a socialist agenda.... 'A subcommittee met with (Obama) to interview him to see if his stand on the living wage and similar reforms was the same as ours,' recalled Marxist activist Carl Davidson. 'We determined that our views on these overlapped, and we could endorse his campaign in the Democratic Party.'... Davidson was a Chicago member and activist within the New Party.... He served as national secretary for the infamous Students of a Democratic Society antiwar group, from which the Weatherman domestic terrorist organization later splintered. Davidson remembers Obama attending one New Party meeting to thank attendees for voting for him."

Magic Words in Politics by Thomas Sowell: "The Chinese are no fools. They know that all this unbridled spending-- even when it is called 'investment'-- means that inflation is coming. Charles Grassley... also criticized the new president for going back on campaign promises to run an open and transparent government, citing Mr. Obama's use of a presidential 'signing statement' on the recent stimulus law unilaterally cutting back protections for federal whistleblowers." Obama skilled at using socialist strategies to create crisis: "The radical left (which President Obama was part of as a community organizer in Chicago), devised a strategy back in 1966 to bring about orchestrated crises to be used to socialize our nation. In 1966, two socialist professors at Columbia University named Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven published... outlined how to manufacturer crises for socialist objectives. Cloward and Piven were inspired by Marxist organizer Saul Alinsky, who used community organizing in Chicago to bring about social change. ... What Will Global Warming Cost You? Biden says Stimulus is Aimed at boosting union jobs: “'We're going to make sure that in every policy, every decision, we don't lose sight of the folks that brought us to the dance,' he said -- a reference to organized labor’s support of the Obama-Biden ticket.... Biden said there’s a good chance of returning to the days of gainful employment and 'the bargain' that lifts workers: 'We got a shot like we haven't had for the last 30 years,' he said."

Philanthropy and Its Enemies Activists want to redistribute foundation wealth based on racial quotas: "Nonprofit leaders are reeling from the recent news that President Barack Obama's proposed budget would limit tax deductions on charitable contributions from wealthy Americans. ... Today the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP), a research and advocacy group, will release a report offering 'benchmarks to assess foundation performance.' Its real aim is to push philanthropic organizations into ignoring donor intent and instead giving grants based on political considerations....The report... advises foundations to 'provide at least 50 percent of grant dollars to benefit lower-income communities, communities of color, and other marginalized groups, broadly defined.'"

Lured to Disaster: "Behind the housing boom and bust was one of those alluring but undefined phrases that are so popular in politics-- 'affordable housing.' It is hard for me to know specifically what politicians are talking about when they use this phrase. But then politics is about evoking emotions, not examining specifics. In looking back over my own life, I find it hard to think of a time when I didn't live in affordable housing. When I first left home, back in 1948, I rented a room about 4 by 8 feet, costing $5.75 a week. Since my take-home pay was $22.50, that was affordable housing....

      "The difference is that today there is some arbitrary percentage of one's income that sets the limit to what the government will consider to be affordable housing. It used to be 25 percent but it might be 30 percent or some other proportion. But, whatever the percentage, it is no longer the individual's responsibility to choose housing that fits within that limit. It is somehow the taxpayers' job to make up the difference, when someone chooses housing whose cost exceeds that magic number.

      "It is certainly no longer considered to be the individual's own responsibility to acquire the work skills and experience to be able to earn enough to afford better housing as the years passed. Obama climate czar has socialist ties: "Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

     "By Thursday, Mrs. Browner's name and biography had been removed from Socialist International's Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group's congress in Greece was still available. ....

     '"Carol Browner was chosen to help the president-elect coordinate energy and climate policy because she understands that our efforts to create jobs, achieve energy security and combat climate change demand integration... cooperation....and partnership with the private sector." How Paulson pressed banks to sign intervention deal: "The chief executives of the nine largest banks in the United States trooped into a gilded conference room at the Treasury Department.... To their astonishment, they were each handed a one-page document that said they agreed to sell shares to the government, then Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said they must sign it before they left.
