Anti-Christian bias is OK at the BBC: "'Islam must not be offended at any price, although Christians are fair game because they do nothing about it if they are offended....In my view, ‘bias’ is too blunt a word to describe the subtleties of the pervading culture.' ...He added that 'the one thing guaranteed to damage your career prospects at the BBC is letting it be known that you are at odds with the prevailing and deep-rooted BBC attitude towards Life, the Universe and Everything.'

     "...former Radio 2 presenter Don Maclean claimed that the BBC is keen on programmes which attack churches, and that there was a wider secularist campaign 'to get rid of Christianity.' ...BBC’s former chief political correspondent, said: 'The BBC is not impartial or neutral. It’s a publicly-funded, urban organisation with an abnormally large number of young people, ethnic minorities and gay people. '...It is better expressed as a cultural liberal bias.'”

Important insights! Lara Logan and media rules: "The Western media have been unanimous in their sympathetic coverage of the demonstrators in Egypt. Why would the demonstrators want to brutalize them? ...the most egregious attack on a foreign journalist in Cairo's Tahrir Square took place last Friday when CBS's senior foreign correspondent Lara Logan was sexually assaulted and brutally beaten by a mob of Egyptian men....The fact that Logan was brutalized for 20 to 30 minutes and that her attackers screamed out "Jew, Jew, Jew," as they ravaged her was absent from the CBS report and from most other follow-on reports in the US media.

     "The media's treatment of Logan's victimization specifically and its treatment of the wide-scale mob violence against foreign reporters in Cairo generally tells us a great deal about the nature of today's media discourse.... For instance, recall the story of the Palestinian lynching of IDF reservists Vadim Nozhitz and Yosef Avrahami at the Palestinian Authority police station in Ramallah on October 1, 2000. There were dozens of reporters on the scene that day as the Palestinian police-led mob murdered and dismembered Nozhitz and Avrahami. But only one camera crew — from Italy's privately owned Mediaset television network — risked life and limb to film the event. After Mediaset's footage was published....a reporter for RAI television, Mediaset's state-owned competitor published an apology in the PA's official trumpet Al Hayat al Jadida [apparently an apology for embarrassing the Palestinians with the truth]...

     "This week a group of female US soldiers filed a class action lawsuit against US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and his predecessor Donald Rumsfeld....They claim that the men who abused them were a product of US military culture. The US media has provided blanket coverage of the story which effectively places the entire US military on trial for rape. [In other words, the media seems to protect all Palestinians but defame -- as if there are no moral soldiers -- the US military] What makes the distinction between coverage of the two stores so remarkable is that there is there is no comparison between the alleged anti-female bias in the US military and the actual misogyny of Egyptian society. ...

    "When members of Western victim groups are attacked by Third World victims, the story can be reported, but with as little mention of the identity of the victim-perpetrators as possible....CBS went so far as to blur the faces of the men who surrounded Logan in the moments before she was attacked. ... Identity politics are nothing more than socially acceptable bigotry.....

Revolution through Deception. Never let a shooting go to waste: "Rahm Emmanuel's notorious line 'Never let a serious crisis go to waste' is a fitting description of how the left is using the tragic shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and others to malign and silence political opponents....Stalin used one such occasion to purge the Soviet Union of anti-Stalinists. In his book, Communism: A History, Richard Pipes sets the stage: By 1935…food rationing was abolished and Stalin's regime needed another crisis to justify its despotic powers. It also needed enemies. As Fidel Castro [explained]: 'The revolution needs the enemy....

      "And if enemies were lacking, they had to be fabricated. ...Joseph Stalin stated: 'Crisis alone permitted the authorities to demand – and obtain – total submission and all necessary sacrifices from its citizens.'....This is a classic diversionary tool in the play book of the politics of personal destruction: 'Accuse your opponent of what you are guilty of.'

     "David Axelrod, President Obama's top political adviser, verbalized this Machiavellian tactic in an NPR interview, April 19, 2010: 'In Chicago, there was an old tradition of throwing a brick through your own campaign office window, and then calling a press conference to say that you've been attacked.'

     "In their particular focus on Sarah Palin, the left seems to be following the Rules for Radicals, written by famous Chicago communist community organizer Saul Alinsky: 'Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and 'frozen.'" [A 24-year-old ] Journalist faces 138 years in prison: "Emin Demir, former editor of Turkey's daily newspaper Azadiya Welat, was charged with 'propaganda' under Turkish law for reporting on the Kurdistan Workers' Party, a separatist organization listed by several nations, including the U.S., as a terrorist organization. But Demir's lawyer, Servet Osen, insists Demir's articles were merely news reporting, not propaganda."
