Mothers crying over raw milk: "Four weeks after the government moved to shut down Amish farmer Dan Allgyer for selling fresh, unpasteurized milk across state lines, angry moms who made up much of his customer base rallied on the Capitol’s grounds Monday to demand that Congress rein in the food police....The FDA and the Justice Department sought a court injunction after FDA agents conducted a one-year sting operation, complete with fake aliases and lab testing, to determine that the milk they surreptitiously obtained from Mr. Allgyer was, in fact, unpasteurized."
We only drank unpasteurized milk when I was growing up in Norway. It didn't make anyone sick. But Norway has changed a lot since then:

Foster parents argue Christians should be allowed to help: "A husband and wife whose dispute with local city officials over their plan to resume providing care for foster children escalated to the point a court concluded Christians only have 'qualified' rights to their faith now is asking those local officials to change their decision. The case involves Eunice and Owen Johns, who were rejected by local foster care authorities because they would not promise to promote homosexuality to children."

U.S. Muslim group 'attacks free speech': "The Council on American-Islamic Relations alleges it suffered damage after former federal agent David Gaubatz and his son, Chris Gaubatz, obtained access to CAIR internal documents under false pretenses....Posing as a Muslim, Chris Gaubatz gathered some 12,000 pages of documents, which were meant to be shredded.... Daniel Horowitz, one of three high-profile lawyers representing the targets of CAIR's lawsuit, calls the complaint a 'blatant attack on the First Amendment.'...Horowitz said CAIR knows it can't win the case, but it 'can... [make] it so expensive to speak against them that no one can challenge' the Saudi-funded group."
The next link raises some difficult questions that I can't answer: Muslims have burned countless Bibles in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Our U.S. military has also burned numerous Bibles -- without much (if any) public protest. Yet, when a man burns his own Quran (which commands the killing of Jews and Christians), our president protests and Muslims feel free to kill 12 more people. How might such heated reactions affect America's future freedom with respect to faith, free speech and personal property?
In 2005, some Danish editorial cartoons led to mass murder in the Middle East. That, in turn, led to significant media fear and suppression of news critical of Islam. As Christians we are committed to demonstrate God's love -- but also to recognize evil and to refuse to compromise. How far might we be forced to bend to satisfy the demands of Muslim radicals and our accommodating leaders? Two things are certain: Freedom is fading and Sharia law threatens America as well as Europe.

US Army now warning Chaplains: If you don't like the homosexual agenda, get out! Muslim teacher goes off to Mecca with AG's [US Attorney General's] blessing: "Safoorah Khan, 29, was hired to teach middle school math in November 2007....After nine months on the job, Khan requested a three-week leave of absence in order to perform the hajj — the pilgrimage to Mecca that all Muslims are obliged to undertake at least once in their lives if they can afford it. Employers are required by law to honor requests for religious accommodations provided that they do not impose 'undue hardship' on the employer or other employees. [School] officials maintained that a three-week absence in December — which would have denied the school its only math lab instructor right before exams — was unreasonable and was not covered by the teachers' union contract. They denied her request.
"Khan decided to make the trip anyway and submitted her resignation. She also submitted a letter of complaint to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, charging that the school board's refusal to grant the 19-day leave amounted to religious discrimination. ...Now the Justice Department has taken up her case. ...to combat 'a real head wind of intolerance against Muslim communities'....The next scheduled hajj that will fall during a school vacation will be in eight years.... It's called freedom of speech: "The woman who burst out with 'except Obama' when New Jersey Democratic Rep. Frank Pallone was reading in Congress the Constitution's requirement that the president be a 'natural born Citizen' was simply exercising her free speech rights, according to a law team representing her.... 'The sad irony here is that Ms. Cao was arrested for exercising her constitutional right to free speech at the very moment that Congress was making a show of reading aloud the Constitution."
