Obama won: "Barack Obama was elected the nation's first black president Tuesday night in a historic triumph that overcame racial barriers as old as America itself.... Obama and his running mate, Sen. As the 44th president, Obama will move into the Oval Office as leader of a country that is almost certainly in recession...."

So, now it's time to pray for the elected president-to-be as well as for our nation! Let's trust our sovereign God to use all the struggles ahead for His good and ultimate purposes!

Note: We stand at the brink of choosing a president -- and a mesmerizing world leader -- who could destroy our republic, undermine freedom, establish socialism, promote perversions, legislate immorality and build a civilian security force ready to quench opposition. But there's much more! The threat to our nation has never been greater! While we deserve God's judgment, let us pray for His mercy, grace and guidance!

      Usually we prefer to avoid political issues, but this election is different. There's too much at stake (including our freedom to speak God's truth and to raise our children to follow Him) to be silent.

     '"You can tell them you're registered as many times as you want - they do not care,' said Lateala Goins, 21, who was subpoenaed. 'They will follow you to the buses, they will follow you home, it does not matter...' ... A third subpoenaed voter, Freddie Johnson, 19, filled out registration cards 72 times over 18 months....
